The inventive artist describes her work as creating simple reminders of the natural beauty in the world in a hope of inspiring joy, empathy and strengthening a sense of humanity in. Born in 1969 in Hastings (UK), the artist has been making these valuable principles a reality for over three decades.
This creative period began in 1988 with Fine Art undergraduate studies at Maidstone College of Art and Fine Art graduate studies in Sculpture at Sunderland University, both in England, followed by studies abroad at the Cyprus School of Art and a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Since 1993, Jess Fuller has been working as a freelance sculptor, represented by the New Academy Gallery in London. She has been developing ideas and creating works since 2001 in her Rudolstadt studio, SCULPTURE + LANDART. In 2004, she was the prize winner of the art regional garden show Nordhausen, and in 2013, she received the project funding of the Kulturstiftung Thüringen. The entirety of exhibitions, symposia, projects, and artworks is impressive. Her works are indeed a reminder of the diverse beauty of the world.

Jess Fuller will cast, weld, and forge her metal work “If” (working title) based on a poem by Rudyard Kipling. “In a tumultuous world, we tend to lose sight of our inner calm. I hope to inspire exploration and discovery of a calm state by creating a simple reminder of its seemingly invisible strength.”
